Coquitlam’s Commitment to Youth

Coquitlam’s parks, recreation and culture programs and services are guided by Coquitlam’s Youth Strategy (PDF)

Our commitment to youth includes:

  • Providing engaging, accessible and affordable programs and services
  • Prioritizing youth-friendly spaces, including three dedicated youth centres
  • Opportunities for meaningful civic engagement (“youth being heard”), leadership and volunteerism
  •  Supportive staff who are welcoming of all cultures, genders and abilities
