Before being elected in 2013 Bonita spent 20 years in sales, marketing and consumer research with a number of multi-national companies.
She is married with three children.
Bonita moved back West, to Coquitlam in 2010 after spending 15 years working in Eastern Canada and the U.S.
Bonita sat on the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee for the City of Coquitlam in 2012 as a member at large.
Bonita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Manitoba, is a certified Programmer/Analyst, and holds a Professional Management Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Calgary.
