Moose Hide Campaign Day
Originating from a father-daughter hunting expedition in 2011 near Highway 16 in B.C., this Indigenous led movement aims to end violence against women and children. It has since grown into a nationwide movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians from local communities, First Nations, governments, schools, colleges/universities, police forces and many other organizations – all committed to taking action to end this violence.
For over a decade, thousands of events have been held across Canada, centered on the moose hide pin—a symbol of your pledge to honor, respect, and protect women and children.
