Today we illuminate in purple for Migrane Awareness Month. Migr aine is a serious and complex neurological disease. It impacts individuals of all ages\, genders\, and backgrounds. Despite its prevalence and the s ignificant disability it can cause\, migraine and other headache disorders remain widely misunderstood\, stigmatized\, and under-recognized as legit imate medical conditions. As a result\, many people living with migraine e xperience isolation and a lack of public awareness and support. From June 1 to June 8\, Migraine Canada will lead our national awareness and fundrai sing campaign\, Move for Migraine.
