How do residents access the Bettie Allard YMCA at a Coquitlam Resident Access Rate?

Visit the membership desk at the Bettie Allard YMCA during the Coquiltam Resident Access Rate hours, and you will be able to purchase a YMCA Pass at a specific rate.

 

What will residents have access to?

During fitness access times, users will be able to use all our strength and conditioning equipment. These include treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, strength machines, and free weights. Drop-in fitness classes will be available if space permits. Gymnasium programs like open gym and drop-in sports may also be available.

 

During aquatics access times, users will have access to the lap pool for lane swimming and public swim, as well as access to the warm water pool and hydro pool for family play, therapy, and fitness.

 

Are Coquitlam Resident Access Rate users able to book group fitness classes in advance? 

Advance booking for group fitness classes will only be available for our members. We will have drop-in spaces available for each class for standby usage for the Coquitlam Resident Access Rate users.  

 

Can Coquitlam residents use their ONE Pass during the Coquitlam Resident Access Rate hours?

No. To access the YMCA, a drop-in fee is required.

 

Can Coquitlam residents use their Financial Assistance for Recreation pass during the Coquitlam Resident Access Rate hours?

No. To access the YMCA, a drop-in or membership fee is required. The YMCA also offers Financial Assistance for membership and inquiries can be made at the YMCA.

 

Can I use my YMCA membership to access Coquitlam community recreation centres? 

No. To access the City of Coquitlam community recreation centres, a drop-in rate or ONE Pass fee is required.

 

Is the Coquitlam Resident Access Rate only for Coquitlam residents? 

Yes. This pass is designed for residents of the Coquitlam area. Residents of other areas are welcome to visit the Bettie Allard YMCA at drop-in rates.

 

Are swim lessons part of my Coquitlam Resident Access Rate? 

No. Swim lessons will be available for our YMCA members only.  

  

What if residents want to access the Bettie Allard YMCA outside of Coquitlam Resident Access Rate? 

Unlimited use YMCA memberships and drop-in passes for the YMCA are available. The prices are published on our website.
