Traffic Hotspots

Coquitlam invests in core transportation and utility infrastructure supporting safety, asset management and economic development. Capital construction projects support growth by improving the movement of people and goods, ensuring reliable sewer and water services and managing stormwater.

Summer Work

Coquitlam will see many road and infrastructure improvements in the coming months, projects that can’t be done in colder, wetter seasons. These works may coincide with projects by third parties (BC Hydro, Fortis BC and Metro Vancouver), and will directly impact local traffic. We know this is frustrating and we work to reduce impacts wherever possible. Sign up for traffic alerts to manage your trips.
