Held by the Land: A Conversation with Styawat

Join the library for a very special speaking event featuring ethnobotanist, researcher and community activist Leigh Joseph. She will be discussing the role of plants in her own cultural reconnection and how she shares her love of plants and the land with wider audiences through her film, book and company. As we move into harvest season, this conversation with Leigh will speak to the significance of native plants and their role in Indigenous culture both past and future.

 This is a virtual program conducted through zoom, and will not be held in person. There will be time for discussion and a Q and A session with Leigh following her presentation.
