Salmon Come Home

Salmon Come Home returns this year at the Hoy Creek Hatchery. 
 
Join us for a day of fun and learning, where attendees can visit the fish hatchery, see salmon fry, watch a live salmon dissection, and learn about the various plants and wildlife that inhabit Hoy Creek Linear Park. Other activities include the popular return of Angela Brown’s Nylon Zoo, musical entertainment by Etienne Siew, and the Explore Nature Contest. 
 
Visitors can also stop by and have a chat with members of various community stewardship groups, the Hoy-Scott Watershed Society, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), and City staff from our environment and parks divisions.

Hoy Creek Hatchery is located adjacent to 2985 Princess Crescent.
