The City's contractor will be completing upgrades to the Booth Creek (Schoolhouse) Bridge, located next to the Cineplex Cinema.  Work is expected to begin the week of June 3 and will take approximately 4 months to complete (weather dependent).

What: Booth Creek (Schoolhouse) Bridge Rehab and Pedestrian Safety Improvements
 
Where: Booth Creek Bridge (located on Schoolhouse Street between Seguin Drive and Lucille Starr Drive – next to the Cineplex Cinema) Location Map
 
When: Construction is expect to begin the week of June 3 and will take approximately four months to complete (weather dependent).  Work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
 
Traffic Impacts: Traffic flow will be affected.  During active construction between June 5 to July 22, southbound traffic will be detoured (follow signs and use Brunette Avenue to King Edward Street to Lougheed Highway). During non-construction hours, traffic will be limited to a single lane in each direction. Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or plan extra time when using this route.
