Truth and Reconciliation Day at Glen Pine Pavilion

The City of Coquitlam and the Coquitlam Public Library is offering space for reflection and learning at Glen Pine Pavilion on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be resources on Truth and Reconciliation themes, video showings, light refreshments and children’s crafts.
Drop-in any time between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to view the displays and check out a book from the library’s mobile check out station. There will be a showing of the 45 minute film- “Birth of a Family” at 2 p.m. (seating is first come, first served). The film is recommended for those aged 13+.
Free drop-in, no registration required. Parking is located in the underground parking lot, accessed off of Glen Drive.
The Coquitlam Public Library is also running an Indigenous Film Festival in advance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. More information can be found at, https://www.coqlibrary.ca/seasonal-pages/indigenous-film-festival.
