    For a limited time Coquitlam residents can get a $100 rebate for replacing their old clothes washers with select Energy Star models. Sponsored by BC Hydro and the City of Coquitlam. For more information about the program and eligible Energy Star washing machines, visit Eligible clothes washers must be purchased between Oct. 2 and Nov. 27, 2020 or before funding is exhausted. Must be a City of Coquitlam resident to qualify.

  2. Home Renovation – Double the Rebate Offer

    October 14, 2020 - December 31, 2020

    The CleanBC Better Homes and Home Renovation Rebate Programs, administered by BC Hydro, FortisBC and the Province of BC, is providing rebates to improve your home’s energy efficiency through select upgrades. These rebates are doubled for a limited time to support the restart of B.C.’s economy and help homeowners save energy and reduce their carbon footprint. Registration is required. Register for a promo code by December 31, 2020. Once received, your unique promo code can be used to apply for the Double the Rebate offer. Upgrades must be complete and invoiced by March 31, 2021.

  3. Remembrance Day

    November 2, 2020 - November 11, 2020

    Coquitlam’s traditional Remembrance Day ceremony on Nov. 11 will not take place this year in order to protect public health and comply with the Provincial Health Officer ban on gatherings of more than 50 people. Some other ways to honour veterans include sponsoring a meal, writing a Letter of Remembrance, placing a poppy poster in your window and submitting a Message of Remembrance to be tied to trees along Veterans Way in Blue Mountain Park On Nov. 11, join Legion Branch 263 members in spirit by observing two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. and tune in to the federal Remembrance Day ceremony on television or online.
