Night Time Road Work - Brunette Avenue and Lougheed Highway

The City's contractor will be repaving Brunette Ave from Allard St to just west of Lougheed Hwy, and Lougheed Hwy from Blue Mountain St to Woolridge St. Work will take place starting May 11, nightly, Monday to Friday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What: Road Repaving

Where: Brunette Avenue from Allard Street to just west of Lougheed Highway, and Lougheed Highway from Blue Mountain Street to Woolridge Street (Location Map)

When: Work is to begin the week of May 11 and will be ongoing for approximately 2 weeks.  Due to traffic volumes and public safety, construction will take place during nighttime hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., with the possibility of Saturday work. 

Traffic Impacts: During active construction, traffic will be impacted so please plan alternate route to avoid delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the work and access to businesses in the area will be maintained.  

Travel with caution through construction zones, watch for work crews and equipment, and obey all traffic personnel and signs, including construction speed limits. Thank you for your patience.
