Make new holiday traditions and memories with your family. Snuggle up during one of the many holiday movie nights, make art to share in a family art workshop, or get moving together at a family pickleball drop-in or registered family kickboxing class.
Special holiday programs and interactive workshops for kids and youth are running throughout the month. Programs include holiday editions of year-round favourites, such as dance, cooking and crafts. Special Kids Night In events for 6 – 10 year olds on Saturday nights allow parents to drop the kids for a fun night of crafts, games, snacks and a movie.
Youth can look forward to cooking classes, a paint night, movie nights and special holiday parties at the youth centres.
Dogwood Pavilion, Glen Pine Pavilion and Maillardville Community Centre have some great ways to get into the winter spirit this season. Try a slow cooker cooking class, paint nights, festive luncheons with friends, and even a holiday variety show. You can learn new skills to use over the holiday season at a portrait photography workshop, a gift wrapping workshop or discover how to balance the stress of the season at a wellness workshop.
Swim, skate, play and stay active this winter! Find all drop-in activities under the “Drop In” and “Drop In (Pre-registration Recommended)” sections of the Sign Me Up online registration portal. Browse by age, and activity type to find something that suits you.
