City Kennels is operated by the Coquitlam Animal Shelter as a safe, reliable home-away-from home for your dog. Quality care if a top priority–the kennel is run by qualified Animal Shelter staff who care for your pet like they would their own.
Nestled into Mundy Park, dogs can enjoy a walk on leach in the trails or spend time playing in our large, fully-enclosed dog yard. The kennels are spacious for most dogs, and offer under floor heating and natural light from skylights. We recommend arranging a tour of the facility to ensure it's the right spot for your dog.
All of the dogs have their own private kennels and only socialize with other dogs when being supervised. City Kennels are a safe space for dogs that are anxious or reactive as we ensure they receive sufficient one-on-one time with Animal Shelter staff.
