The contractor will be completing improvements on the Lougheed Highway CPR Overpass, located between Dewdney Trunk Road and the Coquitlam Bus Loop. Work is expected to start nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weekdays, starting August 22 to August 29.
What: Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) Overpass - Repairs and Power Washing
Where: Lougheed Highway CPR Overpass, located between Dewdney Trunk Road and the Coquitlam Bus Loop (Location Map)
When: August 22 to August 29 (the dates may change due to train activity on the overpass). Due to high traffic volumes, work will take place during overnight hours, weekdays between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Traffic Impacts: Traffic will be limited to single lane in each direction. The contractor will be power washing the overpass, so please expect water spraying and runoff on Lougheed Highway. Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or plan extra time when using this route.
Travel with caution through construction zones, watch for work crews and equipment, and obey all traffic personnel and signs, including construction speed limits. Thank you for your patience.
