This neighbourhood park within the Smiling Creek Neighbourhood offers recreation opportunities for residents of various ages and abilities looking for a place to play, enjoy the views, socialize and relax.
Amenities
It provides active play elements on the lower half while providing a passive open lawn space with a sloped edge in the upper half. The active portion includes a sport court for basketball and ball hockey.
The playground is the highlight of the park. There are playground structures for children 2 to 5 years and 6 to 12 years, but the popular playground elements are located on the sloped area that provides active creative play and opportunities for children with mobility issues to be included. The entire playground has coloured rubber surfacing to provide additional opportunity for creative play.
The upper half has a large open lawn space and a sloped east edge with seating opportunities of views down the mountain. An accessible pathway connects the lower and upper half.
