Today we illuminate in purple for Migrane Awareness Month. Migraine is a serious and complex neurological disease. It impacts individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Despite its prevalence and the significant disability it can cause, migraine and other headache disorders remain widely misunderstood, stigmatized, and under-recognized as legitimate medical conditions. As a result, many people living with migraine experience isolation and a lack of public awareness and support. From June 1 to June 8, Migraine Canada will lead our national awareness and fundraising campaign, Move for Migraine. The campaign aims to increase understanding of migraine as a debilitating and often invisible disease. https://migrainecanada.org/
