Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place in May, is an opportunity to shine a light on bladder cancer, the 5th most common in Canada. Each year, an estimated 13,400 people will be newly diagnosed with bladder cancer, not including the 80,000+ Canadians that currently live with a diagnosis. Throughout the month of May, we aim to bring awareness to this common, but poorly understood cancer by lighting up landmarks and buildings across Canada in red and yellow.
