The City of Coquitlam is moving forward with phase three of the Glen Park Master Plan. Glen Park is a 6.7 hectare (16.7 acre) park located in the City Centre neighbourhood. More than half of City Centre residents live within a 10-minute walk of Glen Park, including nearly 3,000 children.
Following the first two phases of the Glen Park Master Plan, which was adopted in 2011, improvements added to the park include a fenced off-leash dog area, a picnic area, a plaza and playground along Pipeline Road and the creation of a passive lawn area, known as the Great Lawn.
Work in this next phase will be informed in part by the recently conducted public engagement, completed in fall 2023.
