Recreation Inclusion

Do you or a family member need support to participate in one of our registered recreation programs? Contact the Community Services team to discuss options on how we can best support you and/or your family member. We encourage individuals with disabilities to participate in our programs.

Recreation Support Request Form

Please complete the Recreation Support Request Form a minimum of two weeks in advance of the program start date to allow time to discuss support options with the Community Services team.

However individuals must make personal arrangements if you need personal assistance with:

  • Administering medications
  • Dressing
  • Feeding
  • Toileting
  • Transferring

Recreation Social Stories

Is your child feeling nervous about participating in a camp or recreation program? Reference our Social Stories to help them prepare for the experience. 

Sensory-friendly Swim (All Ages)

An all-inclusive 60-minute leisure swim time for those who may have sensory processing challenges, or are simply looking for a quieter swim. Music and all water features will be off and not available for the duration of the swim time. Drop-in rates apply.

Upcoming swims are Friday, Oct. 22 and Thursday, Nov. 11 from 8 - 9 a.m. at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (PSLC).
