From Friday, Feb. 17 through to the holiday Monday, Feb. 20, the City is offering a variety of activities for the whole family. We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia for some of the Family Day activities.

Celebrate Family Day at Coquitlam’s Community Centres
Saturday, Feb. 18

Note, activities with an * are pre-registered drop-ins. They are available for registration 48 hours in advance.
All Ages Skating and Swimming
Families looking to skate or swim have a range of options at City Centre Aquatic Complex (CCAC) (1210 Pinetree Way) and Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (PSLC) (633 Poirier St.). Come make a splash in the wave pool at CCAC or get on the ice at PSLC for a Family Day Public Skate or Stick, Ring and Puck. View drop-in schedules and admission rates at www.coquitlam.ca/dropin.
Join the Pirate Party at Town Centre Park
Celebrate Family Day with a fun Pirate Parrr-ty on Friday, Feb. 17 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Town Centre Park. Join Park Spark staff at the TD Community Plaza for pirate-themed activities, music and fun games. Then grab a map and go on a treasure hunt around Lafarge Lake. For more information, visit www.coquitlam.ca/parkspark. The Lights at Lafarge will remain on for everyone to enjoy until Monday, Feb. 20.

Financial Assistance for Recreation
It is now easier than ever to access financial support for Coquitlam’s recreation services. Through the City’s Financial Assistance for Recreation program, qualifying Coquitlam residents will receive 50 free drop-in visits plus a $225 credit they can use for an expanded range of admissions, passes, programs, lessons, exam fees, supplies, equipment rentals and more.
