Phase 1
Upgrades to the south end (Phase 1A) of the cemetery completed during Phase 1 included the creation of a new scattering garden, expansion of traditional and cremated burial plots as well as the decommissioning of an internal road.
North end (Phase 1B) upgrades included an expansion by converting the forested area to green burial plots (new to the cemetery), traditional full burial plots, family cremation estates and an extended pedestrian tail network. To maintain privacy within the cemetery, as well as a natural aesthetic view to neighbouring residents, a vegetation buffer was implemented along the north and west edge of the cemetery. The north expansion also extended the existing cemetery road to create a secondary exist and assist with site circulation.
