Cemetery Services Plan

Overview

Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery is a 3.4 hectare (8.5 acre) site in Southwest Coquitlam owned and operated by the City. The need to develop a Cemetery Services Plan was identified in the Parks, Recreation & Culture (PRC) Master Plan. In 2019, Coquitlam Council approved the 2019-2039 Cemetery Services Plan, a comprehensive 20 year plan for cemeteries that builds on existing cemetery assets to meet the internment needs of residents of Coquitlam.

As part of the Cemetery Services Plan, future upgrades are planned for Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery to be divided into various phases. Phase 1 was completed in 2021, Phase 2 began initial planning in 2023 and Phase 3 will begin in 2030.
