2023 Annual Report

The Annual Report highlights the City’s strategic goals, achievements, future priorities and the City’s financial position at the end of 2023.

Highlights from 2023 include the completion of key projects, such as a renovations that transformed the Innovation Centre to Town Centre Park Community Centre and the completion of upgrades to  Percy Perry Stadium, as well as continued work on the much-anticipated Northeast Community Centre. The City was also named  one of B.C.’s Top Employers for the sixth year in a row, received a Triple Crown recognition from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and was recognized as a Smart 21 Community by the Intelligent Community Forum, among other awards.

Want to learn more about where your tax dollars go? The City of Coquitlam has made available a Data Visualization Tool for the public to easily view information about City budgets and spending. Check it out to view:

  • Annual Expenses (the City’s most recent audited financial statement data)
  • Capital Budgets (breakdown of the 5-year capital budget down to the project level)
  • Operating Budgets (breakdown of the operating budget down to the business unit)
  • Project Explorer (a highlight of select new and ongoing projects)
