The Annual Report highlights the City’s strategic goals, achievements, future priorities and the City’s financial position at the end of 2021.
Highlights from 2021 include investing more than $3 million in targeted community relief through the award-winning Community Support and Response Plan (CSRP), a shift from reactive to proactive pandemic response, an improved development application process and construction and planning for recreation facilities. The City was also named one of B.C.’s Top Employers and awarded a BC Municipal Safety Association (BCMSA) Organizational Safety Excellence Award.
Some of the work – including ongoing efforts to build a strong financial position through a cautious and methodical approach – has helped to lay the financial foundation that is supporting the City today and in the future.
