- Environmental Best Practices for Film Industry - Please review this Fact Sheet for Creative Industry Professionals that explains important Environmental Best Management Practices that apply to set locations in natural areas in the City of Coquitlam.
- Fire Hydrant Use for Filming - The City of Coquitlam does not allow access to city fire hydrants for filming purposes. However, if you require water access for your production you will be required to hire a water truck to fill for transport.
- Water Fill Stations - In order to make water more conveniently available to residential and commercial customers, the City of Coquitlam has two clean and secure Water Fill Stations (PDF) that meet the BC Drinking Water Protection Act located at the below locations:
- Garbage and Recycling Scheduling: City of Coquitlam
- səmiq̓ʷəʔelə (Riverview Lands): BC Housing operates the səmiq̓ʷəʔelə and is responsible for site access to the film industry. For filming information visit Filming Opportunities at səmiq̓wəʔelə.
