The sanitary sewer between Austin Avenue and Brunette Avenue is being upgraded, replacing the existing old sewer with a larger sewer to serve the increasing population in the area.
Summer/Fall 2026
This summer, the final phase of the upgrades will take place with the new sewer main installation taking place along Casey Street, between Brunette Avenue and Cartier Avenue.
Besides installation of a new sanitary sewer main, the scope of work includes new manholes, followed by restoration work. Construction is expected to start in the summer and will take approximately two months to complete (weather dependent).
