COQUITLAM, B.C., October 2, 2025 – There are plenty of convenient ways to connect online with the City of Coquitlam during the Canadian Union of Postal Workers nation-wide strike, which began on September 25, 2025.
Coquitlam is committed to making sure you can still access the services you need while mail delivery is disrupted. From paying bills to applying for permits, reporting issues and more, our online tools are always here to help keep things running smoothly.
The postal strike may result in delays receiving dog licence renewal and business licence notices, metered utility bills or other important documents, and penalties or daily interest may apply to unpaid balances and fees. Consider other ways to pay such as using a secure drop-box (two locations at City Hall), in-person at City Hall or online.
myCoquitlam Offers Secure Online Access
City of Coquitlam utility, property tax, and dog licence accounts can be accessed through myCoquitlam, a secure service that provides online access to account information. The service is easy to use and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Businesses with outstanding balances owing can visit coquitlam.ca/BusinessLicences and click on “Business Licence online” to enter their business licence number and make payments. If you do not receive your renewal notice, contact business licensing staff by email at businesslicences@coquitlam.ca.
Support for Existing and New Vendors
Customers already working with the City and new vendors and can complete and submit a Vendor Profile Application at coquitlam.ca/purchasing to set up direct deposit (electronic funds transfer). Existing vendors or customers wishing to make a change to the payment method can contact vendors@coquitlam.ca. Invoices should be sent electronically to apinvoices@coquitlam.ca.
