The City's City-Wide Garage Sale and Giveaway Event is a great opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability and community waste-reduction efforts.

  • Find sought-after treasures and bargains.
  • Keep items that need a new home out of the landfill. 

Fall City-Wide Garage Sale and Giveaway

In the registration form, please complete all the required information, including: address, name, phone number, email, selling/giving away items or both, which days you will be participating, and what categories the items you will be selling/giving away belong to. Registration will be open until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17.

Coquitlam residents can choose to participate on one or both dates, and sell or giveaway items. Residents can also select categories of items such as books and toys, clothing, electronics, household decoration and furniture, lawn and garden tools and sports equipment.

Once you have registered, your listing will show up on the online map within one business day.

Need to change your listing? Modify or change your registration. *Please note, you must use the same email address as the original registration form to make changes.

This event is open to single-family and duplex homes, as well as multi-family homes who confirm the property owner, property manager or Strata has approved. 

How to Use the Online Map

  • Click on this link to open up the garage sale online map.
  • Check the legend to find out which houses are selling on Saturday or Sunday or both and which have items to giveaway (determined by color and shape)
    • Purple Circles are Saturday Only
    • Red Triangles are Sunday Only
    • Orange Squares are Saturday and Sunday
    • Any listing with a Green line around it has items for Giveaway 
  • Click on the listing within the map to find the list of items they are selling as well as a link to Google Maps to help you get there

We're hosting a Fall Swap and Sale, perfect for apartment or condo residents who want to sell or give away items. This indoor market-style event offers a great way to declutter, connect with others and keep good stuff out of the landfill.

  • Date: Saturday, September 20
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Location: Centennial Pavilion (620 Poirier Street)
  • Cost: Free to attend as a shopper
  • Registration: $33.88 per table to sell | Register Now
    • Register starting August 12 for residents; August 14 for non-residents
    • Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 17
