Community Tree Chipping Events

Make a positive impact this holiday season by recycling your natural Christmas tree at a local tree-chipping event. These events help reduce waste, support local community groups, and turn trees into mulch for reuse.

Bring your tree, free of stands, decorations, tinsel, and flocking, to one of these locations:

• Friends of Mundy Park Heritage Society
  Mundy Park – Hillcrest Parking Lot (641 Hillcrest Street)
  Saturday, January 4, and Sunday, January 5, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Kinsmen Club of Coquitlam
  Town Centre Park – Lot A
  Saturday, January 4, and Sunday, January 5, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Scouts francophone de Maillardville
  Canadian Tire Parking Lot (1200 Seguin Drive)
  Saturday, January 4, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Donations are welcome and go directly to supporting group activities and programs in Coquitlam.

Other Recycling Options

• Green Carts: Cut your natural tree into 1-metre lengths with branches under 10 cm in diameter and ensure the lid closes completely.
• United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre: Drop off trees for free at 995 United Boulevard (proof of Coquitlam residency required).
