Background

This sculpture of a lumberjack (Le Bûcheron) and violin player (La Violoniste) were commissioned by the Société francophone de Maillardville in partnership with Canada - British Columbia Official Languages Agreement on French-Language Services. They were created for the Festival du Bois, which occurs in this park annually, in 2015.
