Street Vendors

The City of Coquitlam has an active street vending program for carts and vending vehicles. There are different licensing options available to vendors. Of particular note are the designated spots for street vendors near Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake station of the Evergreen SkyTrain Extension.

Vending Cart Locations:

Coquitlam has operated a successful street vendor program since 2012.

To apply for the Street Vendor Program (a street vendor business licence on public property), interested businesses must complete a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) every year. The RFEI is posted on the bid opportunities page in the fall and open until the first Monday in March.  To be notified when this opportunity is available, please email us.

Mid-year applications may be considered, provided spaces for the street vendors are available at the time.

To apply for a street vending licence on private property, or a mobile vending licence, interested businesses must complete a Mobile/Street Vendor Form (PDF).
