The City Centre Aquatic Complex is an aquatic and fitness facility with:

  • Eight-lane Olympic-sized lap pool
  • Free-form wave pool with:
    • Lazy river – currently not available
    • Rope swing – currently not available
    • Slide – currently not available
    • Water sprays – currently not available
  • Relaxation area with:
    • Dry sauna – currently not available
    • Steam room – currently not available
    • Whirlpool – currently not available

  • Sunday, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m
  • Monday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 9:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 8:30 p.m. 
  • Thursday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Temporary Move for Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre has moved temporarily to the Innovation Centre (1207 Pinetree Way) during the expansion and renovation of CCAC.

Fitness Centre Hours of Operation

  • Seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Pre-registered Drop-in Programming

Drop-in swimming, skating and the temporary fitness centre access is  available for pre-registration. Registration is available 48 hours in advance and must be prepaid online or by phone. If you need to cancel you must do so a minimum 24 hours before the start of the session.

Pre-registered Drop-in Fees

  • $1 for child/youth and senior
  • $2 per adult
  • $5 per family (group of 6; group of 4 for Family Swim)

Recreation drop-in fees have been temporarily reduced through the support of the City's Community Support and Recovery Program.

Staying Safe with Coquitlam Recreation 

Safety protocols are in place at all City facilities to ensure the safety of program participants and staff.

Please note that the City of Coquitlam, consistent with the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) recommendations, expects that all people entering City facilities wear a mask.

CCAC Expansion Project

Construction is underway to expand the City Centre Aquatic Complex, with completion expected in fall 2021. The aquatic areas will remain open during construction except during the regular annual maintenance shutdown in September, and some fitness equipment has moved to the Innovation Centre to offer continuity of service to users.
