New Residents

Welcome to Coquitlam

Coquitlam is fast becoming the Lower Mainland's number one location for lifestyle and business. Our open and accessible government is dedicated to providing services that enable all members of our community – businesses and residents – to prosper and grow within a safe and clean environment.

The City continues to work towards its vision – to build a City of Choice that reflects priorities established by the community which include enhanced transportation choices, public safety, focus on building on our strengths, increasing community involvement and active living and providing an open, cooperative environment for future growth.

Additionally Coquitlam continues to pursue projects, programs and services that take the concepts and goals outlined in its strategic plan and turn them into reality.

As a result of COVID-19, the City has once again made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 event, and we hope to gather together again in spring 2022.

In the meantime, we have selected a gallery of images from the last time we gathered in fall 2019. Note: all images were taken before COVID-19.
