The City will work with Fraser Health as they reopen the Forum Vaccination Clinic to increase capacity and focus on providing boosters and vaccinations for children.
Community members are reminded that the vaccination clinics will be operated by Fraser Health and any questions related to the COVID-19 vaccine, appointment booking or BC’s Immunization Plan should be directed to the following contacts:
Both the indoor space and adjacent parking areas will be used in support of the vaccination clinic.
City Acknowledges Cooperation of Sports User Groups and Other Facility Users
Community support of the BC Immunization Plan is critical to the province’s response to and recovery from COVID-19, and immunity in our community.
In making the Poirier Forum available to Fraser Health, the City acknowledges the cooperation of the sports user groups and City program participants who have either accommodated alternative arrangements or foregone their usual space allocations.
Next Steps
Associated work being undertaken by the City includes wayfinding signage on adjacent civic facilities and sharing related provincial and Fraser Health information through the City’s communications channels.
