Family Day

It’s easy to create special memories with your family over the long weekend as our recreation and parks teams have a variety of activities to keep us active and entertained as we celebrate Family Day in Coquitlam.

Swim, Skate or Play at Recreation Facilities 

All Ages Skating and Swimming 

Families looking to skate or swim have a range of options at City Centre Aquatic Complex (1210 Pinetree Way) and Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St.). View drop-in schedules and admission rates. 

Saturday, February 17

  • Family Day Carnival Night from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Town Centre Community Plaza (1299 Pinetree Way)

Sunday, February 18

Monday, February 19

  • Family Basketball (6+) from 9 – 11 a.m. at Maillardville Community Centre (1200 Cartier Ave.)
  • Family Soccer Drop-In (6+) from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Maillardville Community Centre (1200 Cartier Ave.)


Join in the Fun at Lights at Lafarge

Join the Park Spark team to celebrate Family Day at the Town Centre Community Plaza for a Fun Family Carnival on  February 17 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Enjoy Carnival-themed activities, music and more.
