COQUITLAM, B.C., Aug. 11, 2022 – Coquitlam residents can soon plan their fall 2022 activities, with general recreation and fitness program registration starting on Aug. 17 at 8:30 a.m. Registration for fall swimming and skating programs opened on July 27.
Registration Dates
- General recreation and fitness programs running September to December 2022.
- Monday, Aug. 15 – View programs online at 8:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 17 – Online, phone-in and in-person registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Online registration is available 24/7 at www.coquitlam.ca/registration. Phone-in registration is available at 604-927-4386, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for statutory holidays) and weekends 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Types of Registered Programs Available
With programs for all ages and abilities, Coquitlam has a variety of general recreation and fitness opportunities available, including:
- Adult crafts and hobbies, dance and language classes, and talks and workshops
- Beginner-friendly, low-impact fitness classes for ages 13+
- Fun adult-participation programs for early years children
- Pro-D Day and winter break camps for children and youth
- Child and youth programs, including arts and crafts, dance and sports
- Special events at Dogwood and Glen Pine Pavilions
When searching for your favourite programs, please note that some may fall under different categories.
Good News for Waitlist Notifications
If you have waitlisted for a program, notifications will now be sent via email. You can register right from the link within the email or phone the registration line at 604-927-4386. The waitlist spot will be held for 24 hours.

Financial Assistance Available for Recreation
Coquitlam strives to make recreation affordable and accessible for all residents.
Formally known as Get Connected, Get Active, Coquitlam’s Financial Assistance for Recreation program is available for eligible Coquitlam residents. Each eligible family member will receive 50 free drop-in visits plus a $225 credit they can use for an expanded range of admissions, passes, programs, lessons, exam fees, supplies, equipment rentals and more.
