COQUITLAM, B.C., Sept. 22, 2022 – Coquitlam is hosting the City-Wide Garage Sale and Giveaway this weekend. Find a garage sale treasure or pick up a free item and help keep items out of the landfill.
Visit over 100 registered garage sales across the City on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is on rain or shine to help the community reduce waste and promote household item reuse.
A full list of participating addresses is available online at www.coquitlam.ca/garagesale.
The online map tool and posted garage sale list indicate the addresses of participants, which days they are participating, and if they have garage sale items or any items for giveaway.
The City promotes these garage sales at no cost to registered participants.
Shopping Tips:
- Respect participants’ advertised sale time, as noted by the City – please don’t arrive early.
- Respect private property and don’t trample gardens, block driveways or double park.
- Drive carefully and watch for pedestrians and pets.
- Bring small bills and change for small purchases.
