Current Development Applications
Development Information Portal
The Development Information Portal allows users to look up Development Projects by status within the City of Coquitlam. The portal information will be updated regularly. For the best user experience, please use an Esri Supported browser.

Development applications are sorted by project folder and project number, appearing in the format PROJ 19-001, and are based on the year and the sequence applications are submitted. Projects that are City-led reviews for bylaw housekeeping items and updates to the Zoning Bylaw and Citywide Official Community Plan are not shown on this portal as these projects are not related to a specific address. Projects will be kept on the portal for approximately 3 years from the day of Council Decision. Pre-applications will be kept on the portal for approximately 6 months from the day the preliminary review was completed. How to use the Portal
The following are some tips on using the portal:
- Filter by Project Status by clicking on the coloured portions of the ring. Clear your selection by clicking on the garbage can icon.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Active Application | Project is under review. |
| Conditional Approval | Project has reached 3rd Reading or Preliminary Layout Approval. |
| Approved | Project has been approved by Council or staff. |
| Declined | Project has been Declined by Council or staff. |
| Pre-Application | Pre-Application is a preliminary review in advance of a more detailed development application.* |
| Other | To capture transitioning project statuses. ** |
* Please note, there may be overlapping project information on the same properties where an Applicant has applied for a Pre-Application as well as submitting a full Development Application shortly after their Pre-application review has been completed.
** From time to time, there will be projects moving from one status to another and the system may have updated during this time, where the project status may show up as other. If you require more information on these projects, please contact us by email or call 604-927-3430 for more information regarding the status.

- Pan on the map by dragging
- Home icon on the left side of the map will bring you back to view the entire city
- Search by address by clicking on the magnifying glass at the top right corner of the map
- Details of the project will appear once a highlighted property is selected
- Or search by City’s Project Number by using the search field on top of the table that displays Development Information.
- Additional Actions Available – once a project is selected from the table, you can use the 4 action icons located at the top right corner of the table for additional features, such as exporting the table or zooming into the selected project listed on the table.
Project Information:

| Address | Street addresses of the properties associated with the project. |
| Description | Description of the Project and associated development applications. |
| Applicant Name | Person or company who applied for the project and is the contact for the project. |
| Submission Date | Application submission date. |
